Grand Theft Auto Vice City is an open-world action game developed by Rockstar Games. The game takes place in a city based on 1980s Miami. Players control a gangster named Tommy Vercetti who tries to build his criminal empire. The story focuses on crime, betrayal and revenge. The game is inspired by 1980s entertainment like the movie Scarface and the TV show Miami Vice.
