Hitman Absolution is a 2012 stealth action game developed by IO Interactive. Players control the legendary assassin Agent 47 as he turns rogue to protect a genetically engineered girl named Victoria from corrupt agencies and arms dealers. The player chooses how to complete each mission and is able to take multiple paths to reach targets and locations. Players may use pistols, bottles or bricks, and sniper rifles, shotguns, fiber-wire or steel pipes against enemies and can hide by using disguises, blending into the environment and only attacking specific targets using a stealth-oriented approach.
