Plants vs Zombies is a tower defense game where players place different plants to stop zombies from reaching their house. Players collect sun to grow plants and defend their lanes. The game has 49 types of plants and 26 types of zombies and includes modes like Adventure and Survival. It was released in 2009 by PopCap Games and later became a larger franchise under Electronic Arts.
